Loosely inspired from the Hollywood flick Cruel Intentions, this movie was the launch pad for director Poori Jagannath. Heroines Renu Desai and Amisha Patel were introduced to tollywood.
Badri(pawan), an Ad film director, runs his own production company, Pyramid. He is in love with Vennela(Renu), and both are family friends too.

One day, Badri’s parents(Kota, sangeeta), who are doctors arrive from USA, and plan to take vennela with them for a short trip. Before leaving, vennela and badri enter into an argument about their love and vennela challenges him to love someone else, and make that girl love him much more than vennela herself.
They choose Sarayu(Amisha) for this bet. Sarayu’s loving brother Nanda(Prakash Raj) is a business tycoon, and is ready to do any thing for his sister.
Badri uses his friend Vicky(Ali), to meet sarayu at his birthday party. After few routine scenes badri manages to get close with sarayu, and on her birthday she confesses her love towards him. Meanwhile, vennela returns from USA, and watches the growing relationship of badri-sarayu.
Nanda gets furious about their relationship and warns badri. Sarayu tries her best to convince her brother but fails and attempts suicide.
Badri tries to explain her about the bet, but sarayu doesn’t give him a chance. Badri stops her from leaving the city and angry nanda warns badri of the consequences. Angry Badri, tries to reach sarayu at her place, and after a fight with nanda’s men, is hit by nanda’s driver and admitted in hospital.

Now, badri has to decide, whom should he marry, and chooses sarayu, but later realizes through nanda, how and why vennela made this marriage possible.
He realizes that vennela, had a problem with her potency and was operated by his parents in USA and she became impotent, and silently walked out of badri’s life to let him marry sarayu and have children.
She explains how badri’s parents took great care of her family, after her father’s demise and how she doesn’t want badri’s family to stop with him, by marrying her. Badri and sarayu meet vennela at airport, who is ready to leave india with badri’s parents.
Pretty ordinary story, but well presented by debutant Poori.
Comedy track between brahmanandam and mallikharjun rao is hilarious.
few scenes were well handled like, when Nanda enters Badri’s office to warn him, and how badri retaliates,
The fight when vennela is teased by uttej and gang at food festival, when sarayu is teased by same gang and following fight, the last fight at Nanda’s house.

Pawan excelled in this movie, especially during the end as a confused lover, who is teared apart between two women.
Renu Desai did a great job, considering that this is her first movie. She was good in dances and in scenes where she teases pawan.
Amisha did justice to her princess kinda role.
Prakash Raj was as ausual, at his best as a caring brother, who could go to any extent to protect his sister.
Ramana Gogula’s music stands out in this movie, with catchy tunes like Bangala Khatam lo , Ye chikitaa.
Madhu Ambat’s cinematography and fights composed by pawan himself are other hightlights of this movie.
